Bowls is played four days a week on the club's three greens.

  • Tuesday

    Morning, play from 9.30 am

    The front door opens for bowlers from 9 am to 9.30 am.

  • Thursday

    Morning, play from 9 am

    The front door opens for bowlers from 8.30 am to 9 am.

  • Friday

    Afternoon, play from 1 pm

  • Saturday

    Afternoon, play from 1 pm

Where The Rec Club began

The Rec Club first opened in the early 1970s as Logan City Bowls Club, and our three lawn bowls greens are still well used by a growing number of bowling members.

Barefoot bowls for groups

Barefoot bowls rules

  • No eating or smoking on or around the greens during barefoot bowls. Smoking in the Sports Bar DOSA only. No drinking on the greens under any circumstances.
  • You must be barefoot or have flat soled shoes. No heels.
  • No sitting on the edge of the green. Use the bench seats.
  • No throwing of bowls. Do not drop bowls on the green.
  • Children to be supervised at all times.
  • Footwear must be worn inside the club at all times.

Always respect the bowling greens, and be sun smart: wear a hat and sunscreen! Bowls may be cancelled due to excessive moisture or rain, as well as other maintenance issues that may be of concern to the Greenkeeper. Happy bowling!
